theres pain in this world
i'll give ya that
we've suffered so much
but its still so bad
peace and love ain't workin'
for some people still shirkin'
and pushing their shoulder to the wheel
i dont feel anymore
desensitized to the hurt and thats for sure
i want to feel love again
i want to be hugged again
someday soon
lying until it becomes true
crying until i see you
dying day by day
isn't that just the way I dreamt I'd go
thirty years ago
I love the world, but not myself
my mind has become its own hell
but i'll just say
its okay

turn the music up
no more hiding myself from you
you didn't know all the things I do
i messed up, i let you down
Suanne I'm lost but with you im found
I wanna change but its so hard
in this past week I've made a start
I have alot to say to you suanne
I can't believe i called myself a man
no more P, no more E, no more G
no more PEGing for Randy
im a new man, i have a new plan
for keeping my life as the lord commands
and your hand in mine
is a part of it Suanne
I'll be your man
I'll be your man
I'll be your man

Randy & Frank
Making their way downtown
Norman OK
We hecking run this town
We hit up the food trucks
Eat up until we’re stuffed
We say hi to Ty,
And take the sacrament until we’re
“High On A Mountaintop”-singing Saints and true
To the faith we know that we’ll be ever true blue
Bearing our testimony
Our hands clasped tight as we walk to the stand
And the Lord’s light comes down like the hand
Of machine elves;
Wait, is this hell or just the life I’ve slowly built for myself through so many dumb mistakes?
Randy you’ve done it again, you’re so lame
Eleven PM
I am feeling some way
Frank has an idea, lets get
Dominos Lava Cake
We get on the zoom call
We say hi to Bill Sims
Happy Meg, Beth & Dave
Macgyverdood, and Jake & Jane
Clayton Flick, hes our homie G
Carl & the other Randy
To so many friends we say hello
To get my mind off of that soprano
Singing heartbreaker of a woman

I am just a simple man
Wishing for a life that I once had
It hurts now bad
I’m somewhat sad
So lets do the rag
R A W makes rag
Ice cream trucks can kiss my
R A W does the rag lets go
Lets make some ragtime beats on Saturday night
It feels right to make these raggedy chords on the honkey tonk
That’s some balonky-lonk
that I’m hearing from my son Dave
His friend Chris needs a drive to work
he backs up cars in the parking lot
At Walmart
I doubt he’s on the payroll
but he does make a quick buck
Fudge from the BYU store on the way back home [it tastes so good]
Maybe stop at Arby’s and pick up some curly fries, oh why should I lie
I bet I’ll get an extra large #8 meal and I’ll eat it all by myself

Never forgot about our first data
It was at arbys and I wasn’t late
I picked you up in my Subaru outback
Obsessively combing the calick in my hair back
You could tell I was nervous from the first sight
I told you that I just wanted it to be a good night
A good night
After Sliders and Roast beef,
I took you to Scheels
So we could look at all the guns
And I could get in my feels
And tell you how I feel, Suanne, tonight
That night
That night
I saw a light
In my sights
I was right
Suanne be mine
I think you might
Be the one for me
I had a dream
That night
Of our life
If your mine
On my mind
All the time
Your a dime
Hand in mine
Suanne and Randy
